The specification for the two devices is as follows:
There is no know or expected release date for either of the tablets yet. Due to the sudden listing on Huawei's website, we can only assume the release will be sometime soon.
For the T3 itself, Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 will be featured on the device, with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and EMUI 4.1 being the operating system and user interface for the smaller T3 7.
The design of the T3 and T3 7 appear to be similar to their predecessor, the T2, with most of the layout and design of the device being carried across to the newer model. For the T3, the device will be available in "Space Grey" and "Luxurious Gold" and for the T3 7, the colour choices are "Space Grey" and "Moonlight Silver".
Screen and Cameras
The main differentiating factor between the two devices is their screen size. The T3 is the larger of the two with an 8" 1280 x 800 pixel display and the T3 7 sis the smaller of the two with a screen size of 7" and resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. For the cameras, the front-facing will be a 2MP on both devices, with the rear being a 5MP at minimum for both.
Specification and Features
Powering the 3 is a Snapdragon 425 1.4GHz processor with an Adreno 308 GPU. Accompanying that is either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage with 2GB or 3GB RAM respectively and a 4800mAh battery.
As for the T3 7, the processor is slightly lesser power with a MediaTek MT8127 at 1.3GHz, as is the GPU with a Mali-450 MP4 instead of the Adreno chip. The T3 7 comes in two variants as well, one with 8GB storage and 1GB RAM and the other with 16GB storage and 2GB RAM. As for the battery, a decreased 3100mAh battery powers the T3 7.
As of yet, no details for pricing have been officially mentioned, though a few leaks suggest that the price of the T3 will be €239 (£200 or $255)with LTE connectivity and the price of the T3 7 will be €129 (£110 or $140).Last modified on Wednesday, 26 April 2017
